the blue angels are back in town and i am BUMMED. i got my first taste of these assholes about 8 years ago, my first year living out of hawaii, september 11th still fresh on everyones minds. at about 9am im jarred out of a dead sleep by a deafening roar and my apartment shaking. i immediately think "holy shit its happening here" i was seriously expecting to look out my window and see the space needle in flames, turns out its just fucking NASCAR of the sky the blue angels flying about 100 feet above my apartment building. as a rule if i can see the pilots face theyre flying TOO FUCKING LOW. also is it just me or does the fact that these guys are flying directly over the most densely populated neighborhood in all of seattle seem like a poor choice?seriously who is this even for? no one in the city gives a shit, take it about 100 miles east and get some farmers pumped and please please stop scaring the shit out of me.

once in a while you come up with a concept so perfect and a vision so clear its sort of scary trying to bring it to life. there are so many ways to screw up a design. luckily i can say with 100% certainty that this colab piece we did with bittersweet a few years back is the perfect realization of what we sought out to create. judging by how quickly it sold out the last time i think you guys agree.

we cant keep doing this to ourselves. all these amazing shows (arrested development, party down) keep getting canceled and everyone whines about it but guess what, if you watched them when they were on this wouldnt be happening. louis ck's hilarious show on FX is too good to fall victim to this, WATCH THIS SHOW!
